Big News Revealed - The secret number is 2

So I have been leading up to this with my cryptic postings (or so I think) but I wouldn’t release the big honking news to anyone. SO here it is! The wife and I, after many tries (and a lot of tears), are finally expecting our first bundle…literally.

September 1st (Labor day ), we went in for our first assistance in realizing our dream of becoming parents. September 6th the process was finished up. We waited 9 entire days for the results, we would have held our breathes if we could. It finally came on September 15th, we got the call, congrats it’s positive. We were elated.  The nurse told us we needed to wait till the following week for our first sonogram another 9 days! We went in with a hope and a prayer, and boy were they answered immediately after the scan began. The doctor immediately exclaimed, “and here is your baby.” Then, much to our surprise more news came, “and it looks like we have “two!”  Every thought left my head and a smile came accross my face.

At the end of the scan we left, realizing the long difficult road had finally been won. We have dreamed of this day and it had come to pass. Now, internet, I need your prayers.  My wife is at 5.5 weeks and obviously the first trimester is like walking on broken glass, slow and steady folks. More as the story progresses, but wow a life change is happening as each and every day passes.
