Ok so word is old boy jobs will be releasing the 3G version of the iPhone and that some subsidy will come in to play to allow the iphone to be sold WAY cheaper then v1. So my question is this, how long till us normal people can get our hands on one. Will this be as hard to get as the wii was? or will i be able to waltz in to an apple store tomorrow and be able to pick one up.

BTW I have seen the predictions as far as iChat for windows I truly think this will be utterly useless to those of us without an iPhone (*hint* due to video chat on new generation) unless it goes multi protocol, msn, yahoo, ya digg apple.
