Hey, thanks for mentioning Socialthing! in your post. Thought I’d chime in to explain just a couple of things and I’ll just speak to each of your points.

    1. FriendFeed with 30+ services, Socialthing! with 6.
While this may be the case now, we’re about to release v2.0 which will enable us to add a whole lot more services. Our biggest barrier was our own architecture…which has now been resolved. Another part of this is that with those 6 services, one thing that we do differently than FriendFeed is to grab all of your friends on those services, and show you their updates, rather than require you to subscribe to a person or create an “imaginary friend”. This can lead to more data sometimes than before.

    2. The interface that you were demoing in the video was actually our iPhone interface, not our main site, and whereas we still think our iPhone version is pretty, the usability of which isn’t as good as the live site. However, with v2.0 we have sync’ed up the two versions closer together, in terms of functionality, so we have a brand new iPhone app being spun up.

    3. As far as the mobile interface goes, we only support the iPhone for now. We’ve been developing a WAP version for a little while now and will have it ready to go shortly, so you’ll be able to enjoy Socialthing! from any interface that you so choose.

Again, thanks for the mention, hope that I could clarify some things for you…and hope that you like v2.0 when it’s released!
