internet now a terrorist threat

well now the US is a paranoid little girl. we arrest grandmothers on planes, hold little kids for suspicion of terrorist activity. stop people from bringing liquids on planes all for the sake of protection. now take a look at this. saw it on over on slashdot.

“The U.S. House of Representatives passed a bill (H.R. 1955) last month, by a vote of 404 to 6, that says the Internet is a terrorist tool and that Congress needs to develop and implement methods to combat it.”

here is a link to the actual bill. the US is on the road to destruction when we start looking at ourselves and our own infrastructure as a possible means of attack. i know there have been several incidents, but wow. we depend on the internet for our daily lives these days and now sheesh. i am at a loss for words.
